In an incredible year of competition, 45 entries competed in 4 splits to determine one of the toughest classes anyone has ever seen in The Maiden. When the dust settled after the first Finals workout in Maiden history it was BJ Richards once again riding to his 3rd Maiden Championship aboard Raylan Givens for Owner Debbie Simons.
Raylan Givens was bred and raised by Ryne Parker out of Florence, Alabama. Raylan made waves first as a yearling in the 2024 Prestige Stars of the Future Sale as the top selling yearling of the entire sale. 2025 Maiden Championship goals were on everyone’s mind right away! Revival Stables was the receiving training barn that day, and trainer BJ Richards started this talented colt right away.
From his Maiden Championship Raylan and BJ headed to the 2025 Celebration to continue their winning streak with a World Championship and a World Grand Championship. In a short time, Raylan Givens has achieved career goals that many strive for, and Maiden Holdings LLC couldn’t be more proud to offer a career launch for this talented colt!
WGC Raylan Givens remains in training with Revival Stables at Backward S Ranch in Shelbyville, Tennessee and is owned by Debbie and Wayne Simons of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
